Exploring my Island

Hey there, hope you all had a great start of the week! Today I have a let's say ''still feels like summer'' post for all of you who live in a non-mediterranean country. I'm currently, or still, on Mallorca and the fall season hasn't really arrived yet. I kinda miss the cold nights, colorful leaves and fall decoration here on the island but I'm also glad that we can still go to the beach and wear shorts.
The other day my boyfriend and I went to explore the island a little. It was so hot that day, summer just won't end here. We went to Cala Fornells, which is like 45 minutes from where we live. It's a small but very charming place with pretty houses, gardens and beautiful views! We had a coffee in the Restaurante La Gran Tortuga, very recommendable, the views from the terrace are incredible, and later went for a walk through the village. I loved all the hidden streets and terraces, everything in Cala Fornells is decorated so beautifully with flowers and ornamental tiles. I hope you like the pics of our trip and that they make you dream a little about hot summer days, xo

Jisco Shooting

Hello my dear readers, hope your week's been good so far. Today I have some pics of my latest shooting for you. I teamed up with the wonderful Pernilla Danielsson, an amazingly talented photographer, a few weeks ago to shoot some bags and eyewear for Jisco. They make really cool and useful bags and chic eyewear with a Mediterranean touch. Pernilla and I met up in Palma at the hotel HM Balanguera, a very stylish hotel in Palma. I really liked the interior design of the place, it's urban and clean yet cozy and traditional. We shot some photos in their lobby, a suite and also on their calm rooftop terrace that has a pool with a great view. I really enjoyed working with Pernilla, she's a very kind and easy-going person so it was very relaxing for me as a model to shoot with her. You can find more of her amazing photos on her Instagram account @lifestyle_mallorca. Hope you like the pics, have a great evening!

From Cala S'Almunia to Caló des Moro

Hello there, hope you're all having a fab weekend so far. My Saturday was pretty quiet because my boyfriend has been working all day and I'm just chilling at home. Sundays are our favorite days, that's when we go explore the island. So today you get to see some pics of a Sunday we spent on the Southern coast of Mallorca. We went to see two different places, Cala S'Almunia and the famous Caló des Moro. We got to Cala S'Almunia around 2pm so we relaxed for a while and then decided to go snorkeling, which is one of my new favorite things to do, haha. The water in Cala S'Almunia is incredible, it looks like a pool underwater and the abundant sea life is just incredible. We got to see so many fishes and even an octopus! After snorkeling for a while and warming up in the sun we decided to check out another bay in the area that I heard a lot about.

Caló des Moro is a place I've seen like a million times on Instagram. It's right next to Cala S'Almunia, just a five minute walk, and the view of the bay from the top of the surrounding mountains is just stunning. From above the cala looks like a natural pool. This place gets really crowded in summer because the beach itself is really tiny but now in October it's just perfect. It reminded me a lot of Cala Macarelleta on Menorca that I showed you in one of my last posts. We stayed there for more than an hour, did some hiking around the cala and just enjoyed the peace of this place. I hope you like the photos as much as we loved our trip!
