Last Post of 2016

Hey my dear readers, I hope you all had some wonderful Christmas days with your families and friends! I love this time of the year, you get together with the family, spend some cozy days at home with good food and if you live in Germany also hot wine, haha. I'm in Germany right now with my family and I'm gonna stay here until New Year's Eve to celebrate with them.
Since it's still Christmas I wanted to publish some photos I took in Lübeck, a pretty town in northern Germany, where I took my boyfriend to see the famous Christmas market. We spend a few hours there walking around, drinking some hot wine and eating yummy pastries and also the typical German Curry Wurst. I really enjoyed showing Miguel the Christmas market. He loves Germany's cold and coziness and makes me appreciate my home country everytime he's here because he notices special things about it that I'm used to.
This will be my last post of the year, I have a pretty busy week ahead, you know what it's like when you visit your family and have to catch up with everyone ;-) So I hope you enjoyed your holidays and wanted to wish you a wonderful new year. May all your wishes for 2017 come true! Lots of love, Laura

Goodbye London

Hey there, so this is my last London post with lots of pics of our third day in the city.
We started our last day in Camden, one of my favorite places in London. I love all the unique shops, cafés and food stands you can find there. The Stables Market is a true shopping and gourmet paradise! We went for a stroll through the market and stopped by Miss Poppy Cakes for some yummy chai latte and hot chocolate and also had a fried Snickers bar at Crispy Candy which was super sweet and tasty!

During the afternoon we went for a walk in Chinatown and Soho where we had our favorite burritos at Chipotle. We also checked out Leicester Square and the beautiful Christmas decoration at Covent Garden. From there we went to one of the cutest cafés ever, Peggy Porschen. It's a pretty café and bakery where you can find freshly baked cupcakes, cookies and cakes or coffee and a selection of delicious teas. The café is a girl's dream, everything is pink and white and their Christmas decoration is just beautiful. We were lucky to get a table quickly, the café is cozy but small and gets crowded pretty fast. We tried the blueberry cupcake which was heavenly!

Before heading home to our hostel my friend wanted to check out the Winter Wonderland, a huge Christmas fair in Hyde Park. So we spent about an hour there before heading home. The Winter Wonderland is a mix of fair and Christmas market and there are lots of things to do for kids and grown-ups.
Well, that was our last day in the city. I would love to go visit London at least once a year since it's one of my favorite European cities. I haven't made any travel plans yet for next year so we'll see, maybe London will have me back soon! Have a wonderful Christmas weekend, everyone!
