Oh, those Boots!

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure you were wondering if I got lost during one of my numerous voyages through Europe, but you can relax - I was just incredibly occupied with moving to my new apartment and getting into university mood.
It was my first week and I'm lucky to say that I love it so far! The profs are super laid-back and cool, so are my fellow students, and the classes sound amazing - I mean who wouldn't love 3D animation, photography and journalism? Plus, during this week I have already learned more about IT than I can handle, haha!
I just got back to my parents' house to pick up some stuff I left there when I lived in New York, so I finally have internet access to keep blogging. Can you imagine that I survived an entire week without having internet at my new place?
Thank God I prepared some posts in advance, thus today you get to see a few pics of my lovely friend Kim and me, she took me to a pretty nice beach bar in Münster - I'm sure some of my German readers know this beautiful city. After the bar we headed to a harbor festival and even though it was freezing that day (or I'm just always really cold) we enjoyed the tropical cocktails and soaking up some sun while checking out the concert by local bands. I loved Kim's outfit that day (oh, those boots!) so I just had to post about it, enjoy!

Urban Outfitters, always awesome

I spend more money on traveling than on clothes... that's a fact. However, I do love indulging in endless shopping sprees once in a while, especially when it comes to my favorite stores like Victoria's Secret or Urban Outfitters!
Even though I was always obsessed with fashion since I was 14, my interests clearly changed in the course of time. However, fashion still is a big part of my life and that's why you get to see some pics of one of my favorite stores today.
You all most likely know and love the fabulous Urban Outfitters clothes and accessories. What I adore most about their fashion is the grunge look, the edgy twist you can find in any UO outfit. Anytime I enter their stores I'm amazed by the stylists' work, they put together such fabulous outfits that I'd personally never come up with. I do own similar pieces but would never get that special kind of combination of clothes at home. Another reason why I love shopping at Urban Outfitters - the inspiration is always awaiting you (here shot in the Boston store and in SoHo, Manhattan). Enjoy!
PS: This is not my first post about the fabulous fashion of UO - check out the others by clicking here.

Hello Hamburg!

Hey guys, as you figured I am back in Germany by now getting my stuff together to start a new life in a different city. Thus I will keep posting about Germany from now on but also my beloved second home New York City.
A few weeks ago I went to check out my new university (like!) and took the chance to visit Germany's second biggest city, Hamburg, as well, which is like 40 minutes away from my new home.
I have been to this beautiful city only once before, about three years ago I had a photo shooting there for the magazine Life&Style. Since then I always wanted to go back to Hamburg and here I am! Enjoy the pics!

Reality is knocking on my Door

Dear lovely readers, here it is - the final photo series of my incredible summer on Mallorca. All good things come to an end and so did my vacation.
Reality is kicking in by now, university will start in a couple days (yeesh, so excited after three school free years)! I was honestly overwhelmed by the feedback I got from all the universities, out of 16 that I applied to, 13 took me! I never expected to get into so many schools, even Berlin sent me a positive response. You know I really wanted to study in our capital but after comparing all classes and overthinking my choices I decided to study multimedia production in a pretty little city in Northern Germany right by the ocean (big plus). I prefer media classes over American or cultural studies (don't know what job specifically requires the latter) so I decided to give more importance to the university rather than the location.
So far I have been super satisfied with my decision, I like the school and also found a new apartment with my sister who will study the same. I got so many things to do and buy, it's been crazy since I got back from Mallorca.
Anyway, today you get to see a colorful remix of some last vacation snapshots, hope you enjoy them.
The lovely blonde girl you can see on photo number eight is Encarna of  Blogger Heels. I had the chance to meet her on Mallorca, where she lives, and was overwhelmed by her wearm-heartedness and humour. She is such an adorable, smart person who never stops shining. Encarna brought her really cute kids along and we spent some wonderful hours at the beach together, I'm so glad that I had the pleasure to meet her!
I'm sure most of you will also start school soon or continue working again - so cheers to us and an unforgettable summer!

I haven't been Everywhere, but it's on my List

Hey guys, to be honest I'm not really in the mood for writing much today, don't be mad, haha. I have been incredibly busy the last couple weeks with university stuff and moving so I don't have much time for my blog lately. I am also reading the third Dan Brown now, which is way more exciting than editing photos, forgive me.
Today you get to see some more vacation pictures, actually some snapshots of my favorite place on Mallorca - Sa Calobra. It's a wonderful bay hidden in the mountain range Serra de Tramuntana. My sister likes to call it "Jurassic Park" because for some reason she feels like taken back to ancient times whenever we come here due to the unspoiled nature. I simply love the mix of huge rocks, tiny lakes and the dried out riverbed of the Torrent de Pareis. This time we even met some swans, can you believe it? This is the most unusual animal I've ever seen on Mallorca, it's especially not one you would expect in the mountains.
Lean back and relax!
