Color Explosion

Welcome to the Pylones store, a one-of-a-kind gift store located in the Grand Central Terminal, Manhattan. In this crazy store you can find  thoughtful designs and innovative twists on everyday objects including pink lady nail scissors, New York City globes, chicken purses and stiletto luggage tags! The store caught my attention right away because of its festive window displays and colorful interior. I also love the way practical products like hairbrushes were turned into smile-inducing gifts to add a touch of fun to your day!

And "The View" is amazing!

If you're looking for the ultimate dining experience in New York City - meaning excellent food and cocktails paired with a breathtaking skyscraper view - here it is... The View Restaurant and Lounge at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Broadway!
I just had to take my mom, who's visiting me in NYC, out to the hotel and her facial expression was definitely worth it! After the elevator took us 48 stories above NYC we were simply stunned by New York's only revolving lounge that makes a 360° turn every hour, providing us with an ever-changing view of my beloved city.
If you're ever on vacation in the Big Apple, you should definitely consider stopping by this amazing place and feel the magic!

Dreaming of Venice Beach

Hey guys, maybe you've read in my last post that my mom finally came to see her daughters in NYC yesterday so I'm spending all the valuable time we have with her since she's only staying for a week. And hell yeah, together we spent some amazing hours so far - with lots of sightseeing, chatting and cuddling ;-)
That is why I'm showing you some shots of one of my favorite places on the West Coast today - Venice Beach in Los Angeles. Last July I spent a marvelous week with my sister in California, staying at our friend's place in LA and visiting such awesome places like Venice, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, the Universal Studios and a lot more. We've had a fantastic time with loads of unforgettable moments, a Vegas-weekend in between and wonderful days at the beach. What I miss most about Venice is the liveliness, the beautiful colors and creative, inspiring people running around there. For me as a passionate photographer it was such a paradise and I want to go back there so badly!
