Cafe Parisien in Artà

Happy Monday, everyone! Did you all have a great start of the week?
Today I have a new Mallorca tip for you. Two weeks ago my friend Mariella and I went to Artà on our free day to do some exploring. I have already been to this charming town before with my boyfriend. Last time I saw this cute café there called Cafe Parisien before we headed home and I always wanted to come back to check it out. So Mariella and I went for a walk through the town and decided to have lunch at the café.
The café is just lovely, the vintage furniture and details such as french phrases written on the walls give you such a cozy feeling. Both the interior and the outdoor patio are decorated with such attention to detail that it's hard to pick a seat, there are just too many pretty corners! For lunch we chose a table outside and ordered a thai dish called pad thai and risotto with pumpkin and shrimps. I was honestly a little disappointed by the meals. They weren't bad but not outstanding either. Some flavor was missing, unfortunately they sounded much better on the menu than they actually tasted. However, what we tried after totally made up for it. We went inside where it was less crowded and ordered a curcuma and beetroot latte which I have never tried before. I always love trying new food trends so it's surely a great plus that Cafe Parisien offers these drinks because so far I haven't found them elsewhere on the island. When we tried the drinks I was totally suprised by how much the pink latte tasted like beetroot! It's surely a flavor you have to get used to but I kinda liked it. The curcuma latte was tasty too, a little spicier and more bitter, it reminded me more of a chai latte which I love! So if you're ever in Artà you definitely have to stop by Cafe Parisien, not only to see their pretty decor but also to try their new creations!

Summer Shoot with Teddy Marks

Hello there, hope you all had a fabulous week! I know it's fall season now in most of the countries you're from but since I have moved to Spain in April I am living an endless summer. On Sunday my boyfriend and I went to the beach for a swim which makes it hard to believe that it's October already. Looking at these pics fall seems even farther away.
Today you finally get to see the result of my summer shooting with the talented Teddy Marks. Teddy is a fun, creative photographer from Germany who visited Mallorca in August for some shootings. We spent an entire day taking photos with our friend Soravit, also a really talented photographer, at a beautiful country house close to the little town of Santa Maria del Camí. We shot loads of pics by the pool, in the house and the garden... by the end of the day I was done, haha. I had such a great time with these two and love the outcome. Teddy sent me these pics a few days ago and I couldn't wait to share them with you! Let me know if you like them. One thing: it's getting wet ;-)

Coffee at Alcanada Golf Club

Hello hello, Tuesday's over means the weekend is just around the corner! Unless you're working on Saturdays, like me... Anyway, I hope you're all having a great week so far.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I went for an after work coffee at the beautiful golf club in Alcanada which is about five minutes from where I live. We combined it with a quick outfit shoot because I needed some material for my blog and don't really have much free time since I started working here on Mallorca. I guess you all know this problem, goodbye dear student life!
Regarding my look, I just went for something casual, my favorite denim shorts and a light blouse with cute little stars which I bought years ago in New York City. After taking some outfit pics (this is where I wanna thank my patient boyfriend) we headed to the terrace of the golf club from where you have stunning far-reaching views of the bay of Alcúdia and the island of Alcanada with its lighthouse. It's an even more special place at dusk. I had a tasty cappuccino and Miguel went for a classic café con leche. If you're not into golfing you can still visit this pretty place, the café and restaurant on the terrace are open to the public. Hope you like these photos, xo
