From Flatiron to Meatpacking

Hey guys, this time my lovely friends and I started our clubbing night at the Flatiron Hotel that I have once been to before with Luisa, one of my fellow bloggers (check it out here: meeting-luisa-in-nyc ). This time though it was way different because they had a live act heating up the hotel lounge. The lead singer pulled off a brilliant performance and for some reason he reminded me of Penn Badgley ;-)
Since all good things come to an end, we headed from the Flatiron to the Meatpacking District where we enjoyed ourselves at SL, the club that we always have an awesome time at - thanks to its cool crowd and the talented DJ! Since we adore club-hopping it is needless to say that we didn't stay at SL the entire night! We went to Cielo, a small underground club where we only stayed for two minutes (yea, it was definitely not cool), we went to Catch, one of New York's finest (not to mention that Jay-Z is a regular here), and to 1Oak where we ended the night dancing next to Busta Rhymes whom we met at the club. New York, the city of unexpected events!

Going for Vintage

New York is one of the most modern and fast moving cities in the world so it's hard to always keep up with the latest fashion trends. Nevertheless, there are a lot of New Yorkers who sincerely appreciate the "good old stuff" and always look for unique vintage clothes and accessory. Without question I had to check out this antique market on 25th street, a true paradise for vintage shoppers where I was able to find hidden treasures including beautiful old American letters and postcards from the early 20th century and an edition of V magazine with Nicki Minaj on the cover that just came out last year, so I can't allow myself to call it vintage but I was glad to have found it!

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself - Tiffany & Co.

Here's the thing, ever since I came to New York City I wanted to buy something at Tiffany & Co.! If you haven't noticed yet, I named my blog after my favorite movie of all time - Breakfast at Tiffany's - so it goes without saying that I had to buy some piece of jewelry at the renowned luxury store on Fifth Avenue!
You wouldn't believe how long I thought about what to buy, I wanted something special, something very personal to remind me of  my insane adventures and lovely moments in New York City. Now who would have thought it's gonna take me one and a half years to figure out what my heart desires?
The outcome of all the thinking brought me two tiny silver hearts, a delicate treat for myself. The one says as it ought to be "Please Return to Tiffany & Co. New York", while I got the other heart personally engraved - L and Y stands for Laura and Yasemin, my soulmate who I found in New York and never ever want to let go of! Yasemin and I both got the same dainty necklace and celebrated our fabulous friendship with a sweet cupcake at the Magnolia Bakery, well... if this ain't life!
