Hey Soulsisters

In case you were wondering what I've been doing the last couple weeks in Germany... I've been reading a couple books (right now it's Forrest Gump - never watched the movie), I've been working on my blog a lot, I've had a paint party with one of my girls (you'll get to see the masterpiece soon), I've been chilling in the sun (I'm impressed, Germany!), doing a lot of stuff with my family and working a lot - hard work pays off, I'm going to Spain on Monday, woohoo!
My sister and I also went to see one of my best friends to do some sightseeing in her area - sightseeing in my home country, haha! We've had a wonderful time checking out the Hermann Monument, yep, the guy with the sword you can see here, almost the Statue of Liberty's size! We also explored the extremely relaxing forests in that area, discovered huge cliffs, tiny restaurants and beautiful landscapes. More photos next time, enjoy!

Dare to be different

So the other day I discovered this fantastic tiny store in Williamsburg - an extraordinary, non-mainstream shop that offers all kinds of clothes you need to be the coolest kid in town, from BOY LONDON to Comme des Fuckdown accessories, anything a swagger person's heart desires. Somehow it doesn't really surprise me that I found this store in Brooklyn...
Anyway, the girl working in the above-named shop showed us some fabulous studded shades, you know, the one-of-a-kind eyewear Rihanna couldn't get enough of. The kind of shades that give you confidence, sophistication and coolness at the same time. Very stylish and quirkily fashionable shades that would automatically earn you respect.
So I googled the designer of these unique golden with spikes adorned shades... and who popped up? Two even more fashionable ladies called Coco and Breezy who happen to be both identical twin sisters AND insanely cool.
Corianna ("Coco") and Brianna ("Breezy") Dotson founded their fashion accessory company in 2009 and took the fashion world by storm. From then on their pieces were worn by celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Kelly Osbourne and Ashanti, and displayed in various fashion mags like Glamour, Nylon and Teen Vogue. Eyewear is not the only thing Coco and Breezy have to offer though, the girls are true show-stoppers themselves. Just check out these pics I found, then you know why it's so easy to have a crush on them. Their unusual style, mixed with the statement pieces they wear, simply is one-of-a-kind.
Coco and Breezy - I can only imagine what happens when these two powerful ladies with their signature style step on the scene!
Enjoy the pics and check out their online store (click for shopping) and blog (click for inspiration).

Blame it on my wild Heart

So the other day my girls and I went to this motorcycle race, simply because I love anything that competes with the speed of light and makes incredible noises. In addition to that my friends and family try their best to prevent me from having a breakdown after leaving New York City again, thus we all decided that it's a fab idea to check out some hot bikers... a little distraction is always helpful.
What a fantastic plan - not only did we get loads of sun, some cotton candy, thrilling races and quite decent looking motorcyclists, I also met one of my former classmates, all tatted up by now and funny as always. We used to get kicked out of French class together because of our never-ending chats, good times! Enjoy the pictures ;-)

Rain Man is back with Little Miss Sunshine

Perfectly matching today's mood in Germany - it's been raining for three days now, how wonderful the weather in this country is! I'm considering more and more moving to the Seychelles soon to escape the German cold. At least I have enough time to surprise you with more fabulous photos of Manhattan, where it also rains once in a while.
Furthermore I'm getting my stuff together for school, the university applications are close and I have to decide where and what (!) I really want to study. For now, breathe in some New Yorker air!

There's three of Us!

Hey there, you already had the pleasure to meet my wonderful elder sister Nina on my blog but have you ever seen my younger one? I guess not, maybe that's because I haven't seen her in two years! Yep, there's three of us - unbelievable, 24 months in New York without the little one! Two years later we're all a little older, all a little wiser, all a little more grown-up, with the youngest one being the tallest now.
Well, now that I'm back in Germany my family's reunited again (at least for a while) until we all decide to leave the super exciting little village we live in once for all. I wanna see so much more of this world, travel to every single continent and discover as many different cultures as possible cause you know... once you have seen a different world you always long for more adventures!
