From Cala S'Almunia to Caló des Moro

Hello there, hope you're all having a fab weekend so far. My Saturday was pretty quiet because my boyfriend has been working all day and I'm just chilling at home. Sundays are our favorite days, that's when we go explore the island. So today you get to see some pics of a Sunday we spent on the Southern coast of Mallorca. We went to see two different places, Cala S'Almunia and the famous Caló des Moro. We got to Cala S'Almunia around 2pm so we relaxed for a while and then decided to go snorkeling, which is one of my new favorite things to do, haha. The water in Cala S'Almunia is incredible, it looks like a pool underwater and the abundant sea life is just incredible. We got to see so many fishes and even an octopus! After snorkeling for a while and warming up in the sun we decided to check out another bay in the area that I heard a lot about.

Caló des Moro is a place I've seen like a million times on Instagram. It's right next to Cala S'Almunia, just a five minute walk, and the view of the bay from the top of the surrounding mountains is just stunning. From above the cala looks like a natural pool. This place gets really crowded in summer because the beach itself is really tiny but now in October it's just perfect. It reminded me a lot of Cala Macarelleta on Menorca that I showed you in one of my last posts. We stayed there for more than an hour, did some hiking around the cala and just enjoyed the peace of this place. I hope you like the photos as much as we loved our trip!
