What to see in Cala Ratjada

Hello there, everyone! I hope you're all enjoying this weekend and find some time to relax or discover new places. I recently went to Cala Ratjada with my boyfriend to get a bit out of town. Even though I had been to Cala Ratjada a couple of times before we still saw so many new beautiful corners this week that I wanna show you here.

What to see in Cala Ratjada

Our first stop was the beautiful Cala Moltó. It's located right next to the well-known Cala Agulla, the biggest and most popular beach in Cala Ratjada. The smaller Cala Moltó is much more enchanting in my opinion, right at the foot of the mountains, with a sandy and rocky part. The water there is absolutely stunning, turquoise and crystal clear, even on that windy day we went. So if you like to avoid tourist crowds and enjoying Mallorca's nature to the fullest, Cala Moltó is the perfect cove for you.

After exploring Cala Moltó we continued to the Faro de Capdepera, an active lighthouse set on top of a 55-meter-high cliff. We were the only ones visiting the lighthouse at this moment and couldn't get enough of the far-reaching panoramic sea views which make a trip to this wind-blown place worthwhile.

Right down the winding street that leads up the lighthouse there's another stunning cove with a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear water. Cala Gat is set between rocky cliffs north of Cala Ratjada's busy harbour. Since it was quite windy that day we didn't go for a swim but went for a little walk around the Cala to enjoy some stunning views of it from above. However, I'd really love to come back here for a swim soon!

We ended our day in Cala Ratjada with a late lunch and sangria at Coco Beach House which is located right in front of the small Son Moll beach and opened last year. I completely fell in love with this place and its beautiful beach design. The mix of sea views, laid-back boho vibes and good food makes it a fantastic place for a relaxed lunch or dinner by the sea. I tried their vegetarian quinoa burger with sweet potato fries and absolutely loved it. Their prices are very reasonable and so are the serving sizes, my boyfriend had to help me with my burger because it was so much, haha. I'll definitely come back to Coco Beach House with my girls one day!

I hope you like this post and find it helpful. I was never a big fan of Cala Ratjada I have to say, but now that there are no tourists and everything's so quiet and natural I really love it and will surely go back there before the tourist crowds arrive in summer. Have a fabulous Sunday, everyone xx
