Goodbye London
Hey there, so this is my last London post with lots of pics of our third day in the city.
We started our last day in Camden, one of my favorite places in London. I love all the unique shops, cafés and food stands you can find there. The Stables Market is a true shopping and gourmet paradise! We went for a stroll through the market and stopped by Miss Poppy Cakes for some yummy chai latte and hot chocolate and also had a fried Snickers bar at Crispy Candy which was super sweet and tasty!
During the afternoon we went for a walk in Chinatown and Soho where we had our favorite burritos at Chipotle. We also checked out Leicester Square and the beautiful Christmas decoration at Covent Garden. From there we went to one of the cutest cafés ever, Peggy Porschen. It's a pretty café and bakery where you can find freshly baked cupcakes, cookies and cakes or coffee and a selection of delicious teas. The café is a girl's dream, everything is pink and white and their Christmas decoration is just beautiful. We were lucky to get a table quickly, the café is cozy but small and gets crowded pretty fast. We tried the blueberry cupcake which was heavenly!
Before heading home to our hostel my friend wanted to check out the Winter Wonderland, a huge Christmas fair in Hyde Park. So we spent about an hour there before heading home. The Winter Wonderland is a mix of fair and Christmas market and there are lots of things to do for kids and grown-ups.
Well, that was our last day in the city. I would love to go visit London at least once a year since it's one of my favorite European cities. I haven't made any travel plans yet for next year so we'll see, maybe London will have me back soon! Have a wonderful Christmas weekend, everyone!

Christmas in London
Good morning you all, hope you're having a great week so far! Mine is pretty packed, I'm working on my last university project, some new blog posts and I'm also painting my boyfriend's apartment on Mallorca so I got a lot to do, haha. I wanna publish all the London posts before Christmas so don't be surprised if you hear from me again soon.
Today's post is about our second day in London. Since our hostel was close to the Tower Bridge we decided to take a walk there in the morning to take advantage of the great weather. We didn't stay too long though because my sister and I have already seen the bridge and we also wanted to check out some other areas of London.
After crossing the Tower Bridge and stopping at the Tower of London for a while we took the underground to Notting Hill. I love that area because of all its colorful houses and cute shops and cafés. We took a stroll and went for a coffee at Farm Girl Cafe, a pretty place that serves all kinds of organic and vegan food. I had a rose latte, coffee infused with rose water, something I had never tried before. I personally liked it but it's surely not everyone's taste. We also ordered two pieces of vegan cake, a chocolate and rasperry almond cake, which we loved! After spending about an hour at the cozy café we walked down Portobello Road. My favorite stores there are definitely the Hummingbird Bakery, Portobello Market and the cute Biscuiteers Boutique and Icing Cafe where you can find all kinds of beautifully decorated cookies and also a cozy café.
After spending a few hours in Notting Hill we decided to check out the Christmas decoration in the area around Regent Street. We walked down Carnaby Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street down to the Piccadilly Circus. I loved all the Christmas lights, everything looked so glamorous and cozy. London is a wonderful city during the Christmas season, well, it's always a beautiful city. We ended the day with a chai latte at Trafalgar Square before we went back to our hostel. Hope you like the photos, xo
