A modern Fairytale

Hello there, all you dreamers! Today I have a very special post for you! A post that's been waiting way too long to be published. Believe it or not, I needed almost a year to look through all these beautiful pics we took that day to finally write a post about it. I didn't wanna rush because it's a very special post for me too. No, I'm not getting married yet, but I had the chance to practice a little ;-)
You finally get to see the outcome of my editorial shoot with Tali Photography. We had a pretty big shooting on Mallorca last March in collaboration with the wedding planner Simone Lehr from Mallorca Princess, Georgia from Mallorca Make Up and the decoration company Ars Festum from Palma.
Tali asked me if I wanted to model for her and since I was on Mallorca around that time I gladly said yes. She takes such beautiful wedding photos, so it was a real honor to work with her! We met up at the beautiful Villa Station in Ses Salines where we shot millions of pics all day long. I also took my boyfriend to the shooting because we did a couple shoot later, you'll get to see the photos in the next post.
I wore a real princess dress that day, the beautiful Florence butterfly dress by the amazingly talented designer duo Kaviar Gauche. A bride's dream come true! This is how I imagine my future wedding gown, delicate and dreamy. Let me tell you, you really do change in a wedding dress. For all those who are not married yet, it actually makes you feel like a princess, everyone's admiring you and your beautiful gown. I felt so special that day, I don't even know why, it must have been the magical dress. I loved the outcome of the styled shoot, in my opinion the pictures are just breathtaking. Thank you, Tali, for this wonderful shooting, surely one of the most special ones I ever had!

The photos were published on several blogs and websites, for example Harper's Bazaar!

It's never too late for Christmas Pics

Hey there, I know I'm late with the Christmas inspiration. Between some sunshine on Mallorca, stuyding and work I somehow forgot all about this season! Until I went to the Christmas market in Lübeck last week, which is surely one of Germany's most beautiful ones. It's not even really cold this year. We didn't have snow yet so I kinda feel like I'm just skipping winter this year, also because I'm heading back to Mallorca at the end of December and it's surely not the perfect winter spot. I love this season of the year but you know, it's not the same if you live in your own apartment far away from your family. They always have such great decorations and make cookies and hot wine, haha. So as every year I'm going home for Christmas to celebrate with my family before spending New Year's Eve with my boyfriend in Spain.

To get in the mood I spent hours online searching for Christmas pics and winter inspiration. Here's a collection of what I found on Google and Tumblr, hope you like it!
By the way, I'm not gonna take my laptop to my parents house or to  Mallorca. I'm sure you understand I wanna spend some quality time with my family and boyfriend. So I guess you're not gonna hear from me until next year. To stay tuned you can follow me on Instagram. However, I wish you a wonderful Christmas time with your family and a marvelous start into the new year! xo

Shooting Time

Hello there, everyone! How was your week so far? I just got back to university, one week left before my exams start, ugh! In case you've missed it, I'm studying multimedia production which is a mix of everything that has to do with media. The good thing about it is that I learn a little bit of everything - I have marketing classes, IT, audio and video production, media economy and 3D animation, plus I'm taking Spanish classes as well to improve my grammar. Thanks to my love I learned Spanish really quickly and after a year I now speak it fluently, woohoo.

So what's this post all about? Nope, it's not about school but it has to do with something I really love - photography or better said photo shootings.
In November I had a fabulous shoot with Alex Kock who owns the Studio 23 in Kiel. Alex is a very talented, fun and super relaxed guy who took these cool shots of me. Since we wanted to take some extreme make up shots, we teamed up with a wonderful young lady called Franzi who's great at creating some extraordinary looks (go follow her on instagram - @franzi_mnr - for more beauty tips and make up styles).
We had such a blast together starting with a casual outfit, some extreme make up head shots and shooting a little more elegant look with red lips. You guys don't only get to see the outcome but I also added some backstage pics for you, so you get an impression of what's it's like to be part of a studio shooting. How do you like the outcome? ;-)

PS: Thank you so much to the great photographer and the amazing make up artist, it was a pleasure to work with you!
