Rocking the House

Here's the thing... usually we never stay at only one club when going out - there are just too many good ones in NYC ;-) This time though my sister and I had such a great time at Tenjune in Meatpacking, we spontaneously decided to stay there all night long. The day after, we eventually went to three different bars and clubs anyway! Hey, I need to do some research for my blog ;-)

Mom will always be the Best!

Things I learned from my mom

First of all I learned that sometimes a hug can say more than words.

And that I could trust myself as I began to make my way in the world, because I was standing on the solid foundation she gave me.

I learned that strength comes from standing up and doing what's right, even if sometimes you stand alone.

I learned that success comes from trying, failing and trying again, not from everything being perfect all the time.

That kindness counts more than getting ahead. That I have to create the life I dream of.

And I learned that no matter where I am, there's someone who cares and believes in me.

Today I am a Tourist!

I just noticed that I never posted any photos of the famous New Yorker tourist stores that you can find on every street corner in Midtown Manhattan, which I usually try to avoid because of the weird salespersons and crowds of excited tourists. Nevertheless it was fun taking pics of all the tiny treasures they sell there. So here are some shots of a shopping trip with my mom, enjoy!
