A modern Fairytale

Hello there, all you dreamers! Today I have a very special post for you! A post that's been waiting way too long to be published. Believe it or not, I needed almost a year to look through all these beautiful pics we took that day to finally write a post about it. I didn't wanna rush because it's a very special post for me too. No, I'm not getting married yet, but I had the chance to practice a little ;-)
You finally get to see the outcome of my editorial shoot with Tali Photography. We had a pretty big shooting on Mallorca last March in collaboration with the wedding planner Simone Lehr from Mallorca Princess, Georgia from Mallorca Make Up and the decoration company Ars Festum from Palma.
Tali asked me if I wanted to model for her and since I was on Mallorca around that time I gladly said yes. She takes such beautiful wedding photos, so it was a real honor to work with her! We met up at the beautiful Villa Station in Ses Salines where we shot millions of pics all day long. I also took my boyfriend to the shooting because we did a couple shoot later, you'll get to see the photos in the next post.
I wore a real princess dress that day, the beautiful Florence butterfly dress by the amazingly talented designer duo Kaviar Gauche. A bride's dream come true! This is how I imagine my future wedding gown, delicate and dreamy. Let me tell you, you really do change in a wedding dress. For all those who are not married yet, it actually makes you feel like a princess, everyone's admiring you and your beautiful gown. I felt so special that day, I don't even know why, it must have been the magical dress. I loved the outcome of the styled shoot, in my opinion the pictures are just breathtaking. Thank you, Tali, for this wonderful shooting, surely one of the most special ones I ever had!

The photos were published on several blogs and websites, for example Harper's Bazaar!

Palm Trees everywhere

Hey guys, how's your week going so far? Mine is pretty boring actually, I'm studying every single day. My first exam is next week and after that I have to finish all my projects for this semester. So I don't really have much time for anything but school and gym.
Anyway, right now I'm just taking ten minutes to relax and write this post I prepared a few days ago. Today you get to see some outfit pics my boyfriend took when I was on Mallorca two weeks ago. The boardwalk and harbor you see here are actually just in front of our apartment. I absolutely love living there, there are palm trees everywhere which make me feel like I'm forever on vacation, haha!
I bought this pretty jacket at Mango and paired it with casual jeans and Converse to not make it look too chic. A few simple accessories and done! How do you like it?
By the way, I bought a new lens for my camera that we tried that day. It's a Canon lense with a fixed 50mm focal length. I can totally recommend it, you'll notice the difference when shooting details or portraits! I bought mine new and for a really reasonable price at Amazon, they have some great inexpensive stuff for all kinds of cameras.
Hope you like the pics, have a great week! xoxo

An Island so quiet

Hey everyone! How was your week? I'm back in Germany by now, exams are coming up so I'm studying every single day. We also have to finish a lot of projects which is really time-consuming. I'm not really focused on my blog these days so this is gonna be a pretty short post.
Today you get to see some pics of Port de Pollença, a pretty little town in the North of Mallorca. It's actually a very touristy spot, but totally relaxing in winter. All the shops and most of the restaurants are closed so you can enjoy a relaxing walk by the beach or have a cappuccino in of the cute cafés by the harbor. It's incredible how quiet this island is during the winter months, you feel like you're wandering through ghost towns with no one around. If you're looking for some water sport like kite surfing, a pretty beach promenade or shopping possibilities, you will love this place in summer though! Hope you like the pics :-)

Christmas Mood on Mallorca

Hello there and Happy New Year! Hope you all had a fantastic start of 2016. I celebrated the new year on Mallorca with my boyfriend for the first time which was awesome. Do you have any New Year's resolutions? I honestly don't, my 2015 was pretty crazy and I don't think 2016 will be any different. So why have any resolutions? Last year I promised myself to work out more which I really didn't because everytime I get back into a routine I'm off to Mallorca again and can't go to my gym. I also wanted to focus more on my blog but with all the computer work for university projects I'm sometimes just not in the mood to spend more time with my laptop. In 2015 I kept traveling though, I had a few model jobs which I'm proud of and finished my semesters with pretty good grades. So, no New Year's resolutions this time, only one - keep living life to the fullest!
Today I'm taking you to the Christmas market in Puerto Portals on Mallorca. I know, my Christmas pics are coming late but my friends and I went to the market last Sunday and I wanted to show you the pics in case you're gonna visit Mallorca in December some year. The Christmas market in Portals really surprised me! They have a lot of nice little stands with home decor, clothes, accessory, food and hot wine. You can also find Bolsos La Isla there, the Mallorquin brand I told you about in one of my last posts (click here). They have so many nice bags there! We really enjoyed our post-Christmas stroll through the market, had a yummy pink crêpe made by Anita Cakes, a cute pastry shop in Alcúdia (find them on Facebook), and a cup of 'Glühwein'. I hope you like the pics ;-)
