The Beauty of Valldemossa

Hello there, hope your February wasn't too bad after all, as you can see I was lucky enough to get the chance to escape to Mallorca once again. My third vaca week started and I got three more to go, woohoo! Today's post is about a very special place, a city of such romance and nostalgia - welcome to Valldemossa!
Valldemossa is a beautiful town located right in the middle of the mountains of Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana. Surrounded by incredible nature this peaceful spot offers magnificent views, cute houses, jungle-like streets and most of all...recreation. After two years in New York City I was simply overwhelmed by the calmness of this city, especially around this time of the year Mallorca is amazingly relaxing, an abandoned island - no tourists, no party animals, no traffic... just nature, sunshine and Mallorquin citizens. Many friends have told me about Valldemossa thus I couldn't resist checking it out. And let me tell you, I was definitely not disappointed! Dear readers, whenever you get the chance to visit Mallorca, make sure to explore this mountain village. You can't only find romantic neighborhoods, untouched nature and charming cafés here, you might as well visit the adorable house of the famous componist Chopin which has now been transformed into a museum.

Rooftop Fashion

Hey fellas, sorry for the delay, as you can imagine I'm quite occupied lately, hitting the road to explore Mallorca, checking out new beaches and  taking loads of vaca pics for you! My third week on my favorite island started and I got 4 more to go, woohoo!
My sister and I already took a ridiculous amount of photos that I could post but I haven't really found the time yet to blog more often, sorry for that! Time flies when you're on vaca and I just noticed that the last time you've heard of me was about a week ago, oops!
Anyway, today's post is all about fashion... one of my rare outfit posts, but you know, once in a while I feel like dressing up and randomly shooting on a rooftop - so here we go, enjoy the pics!

Beach Picnic

Sunny greetings from my favorite island! It's my eleventh day on Mallorca today and I have had an amazing time so far! I went to see a few new places, including the beautiful city of Valldemossa, met up with a couple friends to catch up and also had a lovely beach picnic - check out the photos here!
Mallorca is more than relaxing at this time of the year, it's an abandoned island, thus you get loads of opportunities to discover hidden spots all by yourself.
One of my very good friends took my sister and me out for a picnic at the beach the other day - gorgeous weather, crystal clear water, yummy cupcakes - what else could you ask for?

Mallorca Graffiti Mania

Hola mis amigos! I hope you're not having a terrible snowy Sunday, since I got back to Mallorca I sometimes forget that it's still winter in the rest of the world.
I'm relaxing on my favorite island for almost a week now and believe me, there's no better rehab from university exams than traveling to sunny countries - especially to that Balearic island called Mallorca!
I have had quite a few amazing days so far, went on a graffiti photo-tour by myself, I explored the beautiful city of Valldemossa with some friends on Valentine's Day and even went to the beach yesterday, yes, in a bikini! Mallorca is spoiling me with incredible summer weather - I mean, I deserve it, I passed all my first exams with decent grades. Woohoo, the first semester is over and you will get to see many more vacation pictures... I haven't booked a flight back yet, so stay tuned! ;-)
