New Life on Mallorca

Hello there and happy weekend! Hope you're all having a relaxing Saturday with your friends and family. I've had a crazy week, lots of work, meetings and some nice days at the beach too. I'm trying to publish some news here at least once a week now so today I finally have a new post for you guys.
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when I went for a coffee at the beach with my boyfriend. It was April so Mallorca's beaches were still pretty empty and quiet, just how we like it. It's crazy how crowded the island is by now and the season has just started!
Quick info regarding my look. I bought these boyfriend jeans on sale at Zara and absolutely love them! They're super comfy and can be combined with so many different styles. That day I chose a more casual look and wore them with a basic tee by H&M. I added two cute chokers, one made by my lovely sister, the other one is from Accessorize. A few weeks ago Gola sent me these super comfy and stylish sneakers. I chose the model Harrier Suede Trainer in sky blue because the color perfectly fits my new life on the island. Thus I just had to wear them at the beach for the first time.

So I've been living on Mallorca for about two months now. What has changed?
  • My life has a routine now because of work, when I was studying I could pretty much do whatever I wanted (which was also awesome, haha)
  • I 'm speaking three languages every single day - German with my family and friends, Spanish with my boyfriend and friends, English with other friends and all three languages at work
  • I'm getting used to the fact that everything works a little slower here on the island
  • I'm wearing sunscreen every single day
  • Bikinis are my underwear now, sunglasses are always a must
  • The clothes I'm wearing are much more colorful now
  • I have never eaten as much fresh fish and seafood as during the last two months, same with lemons and olive oil
  • I'm having dinner about two hours later than in Germany which is quite difficult for me because I'm hungry by 7pm and people here don't eat until 9pm
  • I'm outside every single day which is amazing because in Germany there were lots of days of being stuck in the house because of the weather
  • I miss the trees and green fields of Germany sometimes, however I looove Mallorca's blue sky and the ocean
  • I'm not sitting in a plane all the time, I can't actually remember the last time I've stayed in one country for longer than two months in a row
So these are just a few fun facts about my new life on Mallorca. I'm slowly getting used to the Spanish (or Mallorquin) mentality and lifestyle. Of course it's different visiting the island every month than actually living here but so far I love it. So hopefully it stays like that ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, and let me know if you'd like to read more personal posts like this one!
