Five top Beach Bars on Mallorca

Hey there, how's your October going? I'm still in summer mood, can't believe it's fall yet! It's pretty grey in Germany by now, the best thing you can do is light some candles, have a cup of tea and start a Netflix marathon, haha!

To make you dream about summer a little I'm gonna tell you about my favorite beach bars in the north of Mallorca. You can find them in and around Alcúdia, where I live with my boyfriend when I'm on the island. Unfortunately I didn't have time to post the pics earlier, I didn't spent much time with my laptop during summer, so most of these beach bars are closed by now or only open on weekends. But hey, why don't you swing by next summer? ;-)

Miama Beach Club

I've been to Miama a few times during the day but also at night when it turns into a club. It's about 15 minutes away from Port d'Alcúdia and right next to the beautiful beach Playa de Muro. You have a great view from their terrace, the food and drinks are awesome and the staff is really friendly. It's the ideal place for a refreshing drink after a long beach day. The prices are totally reasonable, so it's definitely worth a visit! If you prefer cool kids parties over cocktail afternoons why don't you stop by at night, when Miama turns into a hipster hotspot?

Blue Balneario 1

I always wanted to check out Blue Balneario 1 because I saw some pics of the bar on Instagram which made me wanna go see it myself. I was not disappointed, I went twice this summer and was really content with their food both times. I had both a refreshing smoothie and a breakfast at Blue Balneario 1 and it was always pretty simple but delicious. I can't complain about their prices, this bar is the most inexpensive one of all the bars you get to see here. It gets pretty crowded around lunch time but there's a lot of space, you're sitting right next to the beach either on chairs or sunbeds. So if you're looking for a not too pricy, simple but chic bar with great views of the beach, this is your spot!

5 Oceanos

To me 5 Oceanos is the ultimate chill out place, you can actually relax on a bed at this great bar! The easy-going guests and staff, the lounge music and decoration create a feel-good atmosphere that always makes me wanna come back to 5 Oceanos whenever I'm on the island. In addition to that they have a new menu with super fresh detox drinks, smoothies and wellness food! A little more expensive than the other bars but the food's quality is totally worth the price. The first time I went to 5 Oceanos was about two years ago and I fell in love with its' decoration, drinks and vibes. The feeling's just right, you know? Definitely one of my favorites, so whenever you're around the Puerto Cocodrilo in Bonaire, stop by and relax to the fullest!

Ponderosa Beach

This summer I saw loads of pics of Ponderosa Beach on Instagram and they caught my attention right away, their decoration looks just amazing. The bar is literally on the beach, so no need to wear shoes. I especially fell in love with their shop you can find at the entrance, they have so many pretty items from home decor to glamorous beach bags and summer dresses - I could have bought it all! Unfortunately we didn't get to try their food because we had made plans but at least we could stop by for a drink. I tried their super yummy Mango daikiri which I can totally recommend. Ponderosa Beach is the most elegant bar of my top five, a little pricier than the others but very chic and relaxed.

Royal Beach

Royal Beach was the first beach bar I went to when I came back to Mallorca in 2013 after a few years. My boyfriend's friend took us there and we absolutely loved it. Back then I had a yummy Caesar salad and a delicious piña colada. Two years later this beach bar is still our favorite when it comes to cocktails. They make the best mojitos (my favorite is the one with watermelon) and piña coladas, which you can also order for a whole group of people, they come in one-litre, two- or more litre glasses. Right after taking a swim you can enjoy a cocktail, yummy salad or even the delicious french fries that I tried, because the bar/restaurant is located on the beach. They have comfy sofas and sunbeds outside and also inside when it gets too windy. Royal Beach is open late so you can go for dinner at their restaurant and enjoy some live music before getting a cocktail.

Chill out at Royal Beach

Hey guys, don't you think summer is running way too fast? I feel like the end of my favorite season is getting closer and closer, I don't even wanna think about heading back to Germany and university, haha!
Today you get to see some photos taken at one of my favorite beach bars on Mallorca - Royal Beach! Yes, once in a while you'll get surprised by clouds on my beloved Balearic island as well, so there's nothing better than visiting your favorite bars on these days. Usually it's super hot on Mallorca during summer, so you'll always find me by the beach, in the ocean or on a boat - anywhere close to water! However, I also love indulging in a yummy frappuccino once in a while when it's cloudy, so here we go! Royal Beach is a modern, stylish and super relaxing bar/restaurant in Playa de Muro, close to Alcúdia, where I live during my Mallorca trips. The paradisical bar is right on the beach and doesn't only provide you with delicious food and drinks but also refreshing and super yummy cocktails.
I decided to wear my what I call Ibiza outfit because the white cotton pants are super comfy and chic at the same time. My mom got them for me in France a couple years ago and they are just perfect for relaxing spots, two years ago I wore them in Miami. I combined the pants with a simple strapless top and a statement necklace with I recently bought at Bijou Brigitte in Germany, they have some great jewelry. I also wore my new coral sandals which I got a week ago on Mallorca, they are just perfect for summer!
I'm super happy that my friend Eva from Austria came to visit me and my sister on Mallorca! Eva lived in New York City with me and I haven't seen her for one and a half years now. She will also accompany us to NYC, we're actually leaving tomorrow, it's a fabulous reunion!
Guys, I gotta get up at 2am to pack my last stuff, my flight goes at 7am, from Düsseldorf to NYC via London. I just got back  from Mallorca to Germany yesterday, so I'm pretty done, haha. Traveling surely is stressful, but also super exciting!
I still have loads of cool Mallorca photos left that I couldn't post yet cause I constantly went on adventures while I was on the island. I'll post them the next few days/weeks and then show you some photos of the trip to my beloved second home - New York City - so stay tuned ;-)
