And here is Part II of our party nights in Manhattan. Rooftop brunches, glam nights in the Meatpacking District, colorful dresses and happy people - New York's parties are fabulous and I surely do miss them here in Germany! Thank God I'm studying so I don't have that much time for clubbing anyway, haha. Enjoy the pics!

Oh, those New Yorker Party Nights - Part I

Hey there, it's Friday, woohoo! Since I'm gonna post some photos of my New Yorker past that you haven't seen yet next week, I thought a party post might be a great idea. During the two years that I lived in NYC, my girls and I went out so much, wearing different dresses and glam outfits every night, that I'm sure you would love to see. When I went back to New York last month, people told me that some of the clubs we used to hang out at are closed now. I felt kinda sad and my New Yorker past never felt so "far away"! So many fun weekends, unforgettable nights, incredible people and awesome music... 
Clubbing in New York hasn't changed much to be honest. You can still party with celebs (such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Paris Hilton who we met), there are still promoters who drag you to their tables and pour champagne BUT there are a lot more au pairs at the clubs now, haha!
I really enjoyed being back and hanging out with my New Yorker friends again in September. So with this post and the next one I'm paying homage to all our crazy, fantastic, memorable Manhattan party nights in our sexiest dresses and highest heels - cheers!

Summer in New York? Rooftop Party!

Dear lovely readers, I know you must think I party every single day. To be honest, this is not true, even though - if I browse my blog - it really does look like I do hang out at clubs each and every day. It IS true that there is a lot to celebrate in my mostly fabulous life but I'm also working every morning at 7am, so I save my weekends for checking out new clubs and bars. One reason why I post a lot about parties and clubs is that this is almost the only time I'm all dressed up nicely and consider myself as fashionable :-D Apart from that I love my boots and leggings hence I look pretty casual all the time.
Last Sunday my best friend Yasemin and I were invited to attend a brunch party (brunch at 6pm!) at the Plunge Rooftop Bar on top of the Hotel Gansevoort in Meatpacking which features a heated outdoor rooftop pool and awesome music year-round. Beautiful weather, stylish people, creative décor and watching the sunset over the Hudson River with my best friend - what else could I ask for?
